Active Sea Cadets

What did you do last summer?

US Navy Sea Cadets

A program of U.S. Naval adventure dedicated to helping young men and women, ages 11 through 17, realize personal success and achievement through a nautically oriented training program.

"I promise to serve God, honor our flag, abide by Naval Sea Cadet Corps Regulations, and carry out the orders of the officers appointed over me, and so conduct myself as to be a credit to myself, my unit, the Naval Sea Cadet Corps, the Navy, the Coast Guard, and my country." -Promise of Naval Sea Cadets

Welcome Aboard

You may find yourself asking, ?What is Sea Cadets??

This is a program for young men and women in a drug and gang free environment that promotes teamwork, responsibility, respect, and leadership skills. Graduates of the Sea Cadets frequently choose a career serving in our country's Armed Forces but this is NOT a requirement to join. The skills learned in this program are useful in any life path the youth chooses.

If a cadet does choose the Armed Services they frequently will have earned early advancement in the US Navy and Coast Guard (E-3 after boot camp). As many as 12% of the graduates of the US Naval Academy are former Sea Cadets.
